Elecstor 12.8V 9AH LiFePO4 Battery

The Elecstor 12.8V 9AH LiFePO4 battery is a perfect replacement solution for all devices generally powered by lead batteries such as gate motors, alarm systems, electric fences & CCTV security systems and garage door motors.

Increased life span (10 x longer than lead acid). Load shedding won't deplete these batteries lifespan and you can expect at least 5+ years from them.  

• With its ultra-safe battery management system, this Lithium-Ion Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery lasts for thousands of cycles, significantly longer than a typical lead acid battery and can also handle higher currents. It does not produce fumes, nor does it leak, allowing you to mount the battery in any position. No need to replace batteries frequently with this solution.
• 12v 7Ah sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries are typically installed in small electronics that require backup power, like alarm systems and gate motors, but they are not ideal for regularly handling high current and being discharged often or discharged too low. therefore, when they are frequently drained (like during load shedding), they are easily damaged, and you will find that you need to replace them quite often. 
• This lithium iron phosphate battery on the other hand has a high cycle rate (3000 cycles, versus 150 cycles of an SLA battery), it can handle higher current, and the internal battery management system protects the battery from overcharging or discharging too low. That simply means this lithium battery replacement should last 10 times longer than the typical SLA battery it is replacing. 

Functionality

This battery can directly replace a sealed lead acid 12v 9Ah battery (same size, same charging voltages) and is an upgrade in terms of how many cycles the battery can do (how many times can be used before needs replacing).

NB: Please note that this is designed for solar and wind powered systems, golf carts, electric vehicles, E-bikes, E-rickshaws lighting, security alarms and CCTV systems, including garage and gate motors.  Not For use in UPS
